Chromebas are the second-strongest species of Growmeba in the game Super Paper Mario (after Dark Growmebas). Like their parent species, Chromebas produce many clones of themselves. There is a little difference in the original's look from its clones, helping the player defeat the original, which destroys all the clones. Their name comes from "amoeba", a single-celled organism that can multiply at an intense rate, and "chrome", referring to its color. Chromebas, like their relatives, are very rare only appearing in the Castle Bleck Foyer and the Flipside Pit Of 100 Trials, and only 3 appear in the game.
