This is a list of glitches occurring in the game Super Mario 3D World.
Glitches
If a Baddie Box is destroyed while the sound for when it glows is playing, it will loop indefinitely.
In Deepwater Dungeon, if the player freezes one of the two Madpoles with the Wii U Gamepad in the beginning where the water moves up and down, then when they are released they will automatically disappear and reappear at the top of the water.
In Koopa Troopa Cave, if the player holds a Koopa Shell, jumps and traps it into a cloud the player will get stuck and appear to be floating. If they get stuck in the decending clouds, the player will lose a life because they are uncontrollable.
In the same level, at the beginning after the first Clear Pipe the player has to break one of the blocks that lead down. Then the player has to pick up a Koopa Shell and drop down where the gap is. The player will get stuck.
The player must be Luigi or Rosalina and hold a koopa shell. Then they must jump in a tight spot and will appear to float, but only for a short time.
In Cosmic Cannon Cluster if the player gets hit by a Spiny at the right time when the player gets a cannon box, the character will be headless and armless. They will be invincible if they get hit but if they try to get another cannon box they will not get it. The cannon box that was used in the glitch will also freeze in an angle.
In World 3-4 (Pretty Plaza Panic), if the player does a Ground Pound without stopping on the very last "?" Block, it will give them unlimited coins. The glitch ends if the player stops the Ground Pound. Also, the glitch only works if the player does it on the first time, without getting any other coins from the block before. [1]
If Small Blue Toad Long Jumps into a Snowball, he'll sit down and move backwards while holding the Snowball. This glitch can be cancelled by letting go of the Snowball.
The player needs a Tanooki Suit in the store box and should have a Cat Suit. They then need to go to Mount Beanpole, then they should go up to where the hidden 1-up is. Then they need to take out the Tanooki Suit in the store box and do the Cat Dive Momentum Glitch. If they keep holding down on the control stick they'll fly out of bounds. The player can only get out of this glitch by waiting until the time goes out.[2]
If the player use the slope before the ride to Meowser, the Tanooki Suit and the Cat Bell to do the Super Speed Exploit Glitch it allows them to skip the cutscene of Bowser changing into Meowser. While the battle plays out as normal, the music does not play through the entire battle.[3]
If the player repeatedly taps the crouch button on ice or other slippery surfaces, their speed will increase dramatically, and the momentum can be continued by jumping forward or repeating the glitch. [4]
