Cade
- “Yeah, the passcode is 5963. I worked like a dang kangaroo to get that, too... 5963... Stupid numbers.”
- —Cade, Super Paper Mario
Cade is a captive held by Mimi in Merlee's Mansion in Super Paper Mario. He is a workaholic who loves puzzles and solving problems. Along with fellow captive Stock, his name derives from "stockade", a term for a military prison.
He is always seen in the leftmost room on the third floor, along with Vic, Cap, and Stock. At first he desires to know the passcode to the VIP generator room. After Mimi explodes at the end of the chapter and the captives' 1,000,000-Rubee debts are gone, he complains about working hard to get the now-useless passcode and expresses boredom. During the post-game events, Mimi returns to the mansion and makes him pay back-rent for the time he lounged while she was gone. He however feels delighted because he now has work to do.
