Arrangements

Super Smash Bros. series

Super Smash Bros.

Super Smash Bros. features two arrangements of "Yoshi's Story". The first arrangement is included in the track "Yoshi's Island Stage", which is a medley arrangement of "Yoshi's Song" which plays in the first part of the track, and "Yoshi's Story" which plays in the second part of the track. It plays on the Yoshi's Island stage.

The second is a brief arrangement that serves as Yoshi's victory theme and plays on the results screen whenever Yoshi wins a fight.

The former arrangement returns in several later games in the Super Smash Bros. series. It returns in Super Smash Bros. Melee, now titled "Yoshi's Island N64", where it can be played on the stage of the same name that also returns from Super Smash Bros. It also returns in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, now titled "Yoshi's Story", where it can be played on the Yoshi's Island stage from Super Smash Bros. Melee. It also returns in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, now titled "Yoshi's Story (64)", where it can be played on any Super Smash Bros.- and Yoshi-series stage.

Super Smash Bros. Melee

Super Smash Bros. Melee features two arrangements of "Yoshi's Story". The first is an uptempo samba arrangement that can be played on the Yoshi's Story stage.

The second is a brief orchestral arrangement of "Yoshi's Story" that serves as Yoshi's victory theme and plays on the results screen whenever Yoshi wins a fight.

The former arrangement returns in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, now titled "Yoshi's Story Ver. 2", where it can be played on the Woolly World stage, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, now titled "Yoshi's Story (Melee)", where it can be played on any Super Smash Bros.- and Yoshi-series stage.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Like previous Super Smash Bros. titles, Super Smash Bros. Brawl features two arrangements of "Yoshi's Story". The first is a brief arrangement heard at the beginning of "Ending (Yoshi's Story)".

The second is a new brief orchestral arrangement similar to the one heard in Super Smash Bros. Melee that serves as Yoshi's victory theme and plays on the results screen whenever Yoshi wins a fight.

The former arrangement returns in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, where it can be played on the Yoshi's Island, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, where it can be played on the Woolly World stage, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, now titled "Yoshi's Tale", where it can be played on any Super Smash Bros.- and Yoshi-series stage.

The latter arrangement is reused as Yoshi's victory theme in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate uses an abridged version of Yoshi's victory theme from Super Smash Bros. Brawl. This version is also a slightly faster tempo than the original.

Mario Super Sluggers

In Mario Super Sluggers, a melody arrangement of "Yoshi's Story" and "Yoshi's Song" serves as the background music for Yoshi Park.

WarioWare: D.I.Y.

WarioWare: D.I.Y. features a Latin medley arrangement of several themes from Yoshi's Story as one of 9-Volt's Records simply titled "Yoshi". The medley includes "Yoshi's Story", "Yoshi's Song", and "Yoshi's Tale".

Nintendo Land

Nintendo Land features a brief arrangement of "Yoshi's Story" in the theme heard during the game's credits, which is a medley arrangement of many themes from the attractions' source games.

Mario Golf: World Tour

In Mario Golf: World Tour, an arrangement of "Yoshi's Story" serves as the background music for the Yoshi Lake course.
