"Koopa's Theme"[1] is the musical theme composed by Koji Kondo for Super Mario 64 that plays when fighting Bowser in Bowser in the Dark World and Bowser in the Fire Sea. The theme's title uses Bowser's Japanese name, despite the soundtrack releasing in North America both physically in 1996 as well as in Super Mario 3D All-Stars.

Super Mario Odyssey
In Super Mario Odyssey, the original version of "Koopa's Theme" is briefly included in the medley of Bowser battle themes that plays during the cutscene when Mario captures Bowser in the Moon Kingdom at the end of the game. It is heard alongside "Shiro BGM" from Super Mario Bros., "King Bowser" from Super Mario Bros. 3, "Demon King Bowser BGM" from Super Mario World, and "Bowser Battle 1" from when Mario fights Bowser in the Cloud Kingdom in Super Mario Odyssey.
An arrangement of "Koopa's Theme" is included in "Break Free (Lead the Way)", which has two different versions depending on the region of the game: one with English vocals and one with Japanese vocals. An 8-bit arrangement of "Break Free (Lead the Way)" can be heard exclusively through the Music List by fulfilling at least three of Jammin' Toad's requests.
The English and Japanese versions of "Break Free (Lead the Way)" are included in the Super Mario Odyssey Sound Selection, and all of the aforementioned arrangements are included in the Super Mario Odyssey Original Soundtrack.
The English version of "Break Free (Lead the Way)" returns as a playable track in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, where it can be played on any Super Smash Bros.-series or Super Mario-series stage.
