The Dark Sproing-Oing is an enemy in Super Paper Mario found only in the Flopside Pit of 100 Trials. Just like every other enemy in the pit, they are colored pitch black. Their attack pattern is similar to that of the other members of the Sproing-Oing family: they bounce around, trying to land on the player's head. They also split into three smaller Dark Sproing-Oings when defeated. However, if enough damage is dealt in one hit, they will not split. They are the strongest kind of Sproing-Oing.
