Template:Species-infobox A Blarggwich[1], originally known as a Support Ghost[2], is an undead species of Blargg that first appeared in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. They are rare, appearing only in Salvo The Slime's Castle and Sluggy The Unshaven's Fort. Yoshi can jump onto and freely move around atop the Flatbed Ferries carried on a Blarggwich's head. Blarggwiches move along a set path, occasionally stopping and stretching upward, leading Yoshi to both traps and helpful items. In Salvo the Slime's Castle, the Blarggwich is skinnier than most depictions, is a light blue color, is in water, has small eyes without eyebrows, and moves fluidly in a looping motion; while others are bulkier, grey, have large eyes and eyebrows, and move jerkily.

Blarggwiches return in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, where they appear in the Yoshi's Island stage. This Blarggwich perpetually acts as an extra platform over a deep pit, and players can jump onto it to avoid falling. However, it appears only at random moments.

Blarggwiches reappear in Yoshi's New Island. One is featured as the main gimmick of the third world's special level, Ride the Blarggwich. Another variation between two long, yellow Flatbed Ferries also appears. When the player ground pounds on one, the Blarggwich will turn red with angry, yellow eyes and stretch. While most of these are stationary, some of them between two red Flatbed Ferries are found on a track.
