Salty Salty Speedway is the second course of the Banana Cup in Mario Kart World. It is set in a city similar to Venice, just east of the large bay in the south of the game's map. The course has racers drive on the canals for much of its area.

Course layout

The course starts in a canal, with slightly higher walkways on the sides, which turns left then back to the right. There is a boat with a sloped back. The canal exits into an upward sloped 270° turn to the left, which leads to a set of stairs that head further upwards. Here there are square turns to the left then right, with grass that can be cut across. After this is a straightaway with a ramp, then a square turn to the right, leading to a drop back into the canals. The canal here slopes downward, with a left turn halfway through. There are also several opportunities to get on the walkways here. After the sloped section, there is a turn to the right, where the walkways slope to a higher point. There is then a very wide water section, with a large right turn leading to the finish line.[1]
