Dry Bones Burnout[1] is the fourth and final course of the Leaf Cup in Mario Kart World. The course features a large skeletal entity, with racers driving around bridges and road with a Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) theme, surrounded by a lake of lava.
Geographically, the course is located next to Bowser's Castle in the volcanic region in the northwest of the game's map.
It is the first Mario Kart course to be named after Dry Bones, and is only the second course in the series to feature lava and not be a Bowser's Castle, after Grumble Volcano.

Naming[edit]
A burnout is when a vehicle is kept stationary while its wheels spin, causing the tires to heat up and smoke from the friction.
