Faraway Oasis is the second race course of the Shell Cup in Mario Kart World,[1] and is the first new course in the series' history to be featured in that cup, excluding Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit. It is set within a large savannah near the southern forest region of the game's map, and is populated by various animals such as elephants, zebras, and giraffes. It is located in the southeast section of the world map.[2] The track's layout resembles a mirrored version of GBA Riverside Park. This connection is more overt in the Japanese, where Faraway Oasis is named "Riverside Safari".
