Dash Food[1] is the name of various food items that can be consumed in Mario Kart World. Dash Food is obtained by picking up golden fast food bags at Yoshi's drive-throughs.[1] When consumed, Dash Food gives the player a small boost, longer than one provided by a Mushroom, and changes the racer's outfit if the racer is not already wearing the outfit. Outfit changes caused by this item unlock costumes for the character the player was controlling if the player did not already unlock it. Outfits the player obtains are based on the food item that was consumed.
