Drillbies R are enemies in Mario & Luigi: Brothership. They are stronger versions of Drillbies that appear on Slippenglide Island, where they leap out at Mario and Luigi if they notice them. Unlike their normal counterparts, Drillbies R are pink with a yellow drill and spikes. Given their appearance and where they are found, it is possible that they are based on strawberry ice cream.
Some Drillbies R are infected with Glohm, thus making them Glohm Drillbies R. After Reclusa reawakens, all Drillbies R get infected with Glohm and become much stronger.
Battle
Drillbies R are similar to their normal counterparts, although they have higher stats and faster attacks. They possess an attack the original variant did not have - they burrow and slowly approach Mario or Luigi, the snow getting smaller and smaller until it disappears when close to a character. When they reach one of the brothers, they will pop up and spin their drill, dealing damage four times and possibly inflicting the Dizzy status effect. This attack must be avoided entirely by jumping.
A Drillby R is of Level 25 and gives 202 Experience and 46 coins when defeated.[1]
