History[edit]
Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island / Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3[edit]
In Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and its remake, Cactus Jack only appear in two levels: Watch Out For Lakitu and The Cave Of The Mystery Maze. They stand on not only the ground, but also tracks. Cactus Jacks can be moved if a Yoshi throws a Yoshi's egg at them. If they come into contact with anything when rolling, they explode and shoot out coins.
Unused appearances[edit]
Yoshi's New Island[edit]
Cactus Jacks were going to appear in Yoshi's New Island where their eyes and coloration would look more similar to standard Pokeys, as there is a model with a set of animations, but they were removed from the final game.[3]
