Dark Megabite
Catch Card of a Dark Megabite from Super Paper Mario
First appearance Super Paper Mario (2007)
Variant of Megabite

Dark Megabites are pitch-black, silhouette-like Megabites that can be only found in rooms 39, 69 and 96 of the Flopside Pit of 100 Trials in Super Paper Mario. Like Gigabites, these flying skulls appear instantly when Mario, Luigi, Peach or Bowser enter the rooms in which they are found, and like Megabites, they attack opponents by swooping down in an attempt to ram them. Dark Megabites are almost invincible, taking only one point of damage no matter how strong the attack is, and being immune to electrocution. This means eight hits are required to defeat them, so using Dottie to continuously jump on them without being seen is recommended.

This is the last Dark enemy listed by Catch Card number besides Shadoo's four forms.
