A Bubble Dayzee from Yoshi's New Island | |
First appearance | Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island (1995) |
Latest appearance | Yoshi's New Island (2014) |
Variant of | Crazee Dayzee |
Bubble Dayzees[1] are purple Crazee Dayzees in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and its Game Boy Advance version. They walk a short distance and then blow out bubbles, similarly to Barney Bubble. Yoshi can eat the bubbles and then spit them back out to destroy almost any enemy. He can also bounce off of them to reach greater heights, but the bubbles he touches will pop in the process. Once Yoshi blows them out, he will have to lick up another to keep the weapon. The bubbles can only run out if they all pop and the Bubble Dayzee is gone. They only appear in two levels in said games: Watch Out For Lakitu and Goonie Rides!
Bubble Dayzees in Yoshi's New Island appear in Cruise the Clouds. Unlike before, Yoshi can no longer grab bubbles that a Bubble Dayzee spits out regardless of whether it is alive or not.

Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island / Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3
- Shogakukan guide: 白と黄色のパンジーさんは、口笛を吹きながらスキップをしているだけ。紫のパンジーさんは、シャボン玉を吹いている。これに当たるとはじかれるが、食べればシャボン玉を吹けるようになる。[2] (The white and yellow Crazee Dayzees whistle as they merely skip along. The purple Crazee Dayzees blow soap bubbles. These cause bouncing when hit, but eating them will allow soap bubbles to be blown.)
- Player's Guide: When this flower child blows bubbles, Yoshi can catch them in his mouth and blow them back.[1]
- Shogakukan guide (Game Boy Advance version):
白 と黄色 のものは、口笛 をふきながらスキップしているだけ。紫 のパンジーさんがふくシャボン玉 を食 べると、ジャボン玉 がふける。[3] (The white and yellow ones whistle and just skip along. The purple Crazee Dayzees blow soap bubbles which if eaten, allow soap bubbles to be blown.)
Yoshi's New Island
- Shogakukan guide: 花のような敵で、ゆっくりと地上を歩く。中には、泡を吐き出してくるものもいる。正面から泡に触れると後方に押し戻されるが、ダメージは受けない。[4] (They are flower-like enemies, and they walk slowly on the ground. Some of them spit out bubbles. If you touch the bubbles from the front, you will be pushed backward, but you will not be damaged.)
