Coptas are red variants of Choppas that appear Super Paper Mario. They resemble red dragonflies, and their name is a corruption of the word "copter," short for "helicopter." They make several appearances in the Flipside Pit of 100 Trials (rooms 74 and 87) and in Castle Bleck.
They are a stronger and more durable variant of the Choppa; while not particularly different in terms of attack pattern, their ability to flip between dimensions at will still make them hard to defeat, especially in enclosed areas like the Flipside Pit of 100 Trials. Fleep's ability can be used to stun the Copta and make them easier to damage. They can drop Honey Jars and Cake Mixs.
