The Dark Ninjoe is an enemy from Super Paper Mario that can be found in rooms 64, 69, 77 and 78 of the Flopside Pit of 100 Trials. It appears as a shadow of a Ninjoe. The Dark Ninjoe is found in groups in the Pit of 100 Trials. It often throws many ninja stars at the player and is a lightning-quick foe, even faster than the Ninjerry. Its card description jokingly says this challenging foe moves "at the speed of deadly," and segues into a Chuck Norris reference ("roundhouse kick"). There is no solid strategy to defeat a Dark Ninjoe, though stunning it with Fleep and then jumping on it is effective. However, they have one more trick up their sleeve: The Ninjoe that is attacked might be a decoy, in fact it may do this many times until the real them appears upon being attacked. According to Tippi, Dark Ninjoes are so secret that not even their regular counterparts know about them.
