Longators are enemies in Super Paper Mario. Their name is taken from the words "elongate", referring to their stretching abilities, and "alligator". Since they do not resemble alligators, their name might also be occupational, with its relative, Longadile, carrying on a possibly unintentional play on words. Longators are found in Planet Blobule and the Flipside Pit of 100 Trials. Longators appear as two white rectangles stacked on top of each other with a smiling face on the top one. It attacks by stretching its head out to extreme proportions, reaching the player from a long distance away. This attack method, however, makes it a larger target and thus easier to jump on.
