Template:Kart-infobox The Blue Falcon is a small kart that first appears in Mario Kart Wii . In Mario Kart 8, it appears as a kart part in the first downloadable content pack. It is modeled after the actual Blue Falcon vehicle used by Captain Falcon in the F-Zero series. The Blue Falcon in Mario Kart Wii is based on its more modern design from F-Zero X on the N64, while the one in Mario Kart 8 is based on its design from the original SNES F-Zero. The coloring of Mario & Baby Mario's kart is the same as the real Blue Falcon.
The Blue Falcon can be unlocked in Mario Kart Wii by winning the Lightning Cup in Mirror Mode. It does not have a bike counterpart for the small size class, being more similar to the medium bike Sneakster and the heavy bike Spear.

Stats
The Blue Falcon has great speed; it is the fastest small vehicle in the game. In fact, its speed is equivalent to the Flame Runner's. It is also the fastest vehicle without a counterpart in the game. However, the vehicle is rather light and has average drifting and acceleration, but its other stats are rather low. Its weight is tied with the Standard Kart S.

Mario Kart 8
The Blue Falcon returns in Mario Kart 8 as one of the vehicles included in The Legend of Zelda × Mario Kart 8 downloadable content pack, as well as one of the three retro vehicle bodies to return in the game along with the B Dasher and Pipe Frame. Unlike in Mario Kart Wii, the model is based on the original Blue Falcon from the SNES game, F-Zero, has only one color scheme, and is available to all characters in all weight classes.
In terms of its stats, the Blue Falcon's stat distribution is similar to that of the Soda Jet kart body from Mario Kart 7; it boosts speed and acceleration, at the cost of some weight and traction. Also, the Blue Falcon's stats are shared with the Streetle, which is available in the Animal Crossing × Mario Kart 8 DLC pack.

Trivia
- The Blue Falcon is powered by battery, similarly to the Cheep Charger. The battery is located at the bottom of the kart, and is seen when the Blue Falcon is flipped.
- Though it is called the Blue Falcon, Baby Mario, Toad, and the Male Mii are the only characters who actually have it colored blue. Baby Mario's has the true color scheme as the machine itself from the F-Zero games, while Toad's and the Male Mii's color variants are unique to the game.
- The Blue Falcon is the only small vehicle to have a Mini-Turbo lower than thirty, unless driven by Baby Daisy, Koopa Troopa, Dry Bones, or the Mii based on their Mini-Turbo bonuses. This is unusual, as most small vehicles are capable of powerful Mini-Turbos.
- This is the only vehicle in Mario Kart Wii to have the same name in all languages.
- In Mario Kart 8, the Blue Falcon emit flames rather than the usual exhaust smoke from the other vehicle bodies in the game; the flames changes color depending on the strength of its mini turbo: blue for weak mini turbo and yellow for strong mini turbo.
- It is also one of the few vehicles in the game to show a specific animation detail (the vehicle's wing flaps move whenever it performs a power slide), the others being the Badwagon (the speakers in the back moves in sync with a course's music), Landship (the cannon on either side animate when the vehicle moves), Biddybuggy (the vehicle's wings flutter when doing a speed boost), Yoshi Bike (the vehicle's arms animate during a power slide, driving over a boost panel, or gliding), and P-Wing (the vehicle's rear sides open up while in anti-gravity).
