Template:Kart-infobox The Wood tires (known as the Wooden tires in PAL regions) are a set of unlockable tires in Mario Kart 7. Although they may seem inconvenient, the Wood tires actually offer a good boost of acceleration and handling, but their speed and weight are hindered. The Wood tires are the only set of wheels to offer a handling boost, but no off-road boost.
The Wood tires also appear in Mario Kart 8, where they appear different, and affect certain stats differently.

Trivia
- The tires of the DK Jumbo, from Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, have a similar appearance to the Wood tires. However, unlike the Wood tires, the DK Jumbo offers much less acceleration.
