Template:Catch Card Shlurps are purple caterpillar-like enemies in the Wii game Super Paper Mario, living in Gloam Valley and in the Flipside Pit of 100 Trials in rooms 13 and 15. These strange creatures are almost invincible thanks to their extremely hard exoskeleton. Despite having lots of legs, they move very slowly, and keep going in the same direction, even when they hit a wall, which highlights their placid temper. Shlurps suck up and swallow anything they find in their way. Actually, if Mario gets too close to a Shlurp, it will suck him up and spit him out, thus damaging him. The only way to defeat these enemies is to get them to swallow an explosive, that is to say, Boomer.

There are tougher versions of these enemies, named Shlorps.

However, Shlurps look more like an enemy similar to Dodongoes known as Dodongo Snakes from The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening.
