Blomebas are a variant of Growmebas in Super Paper Mario. They look like a dripping blue square with a single round eye. Like their parent species, Blomebas make copies of themselves, until they reach the maximum quantity of fourteen copies. These copies can be destroyed individually, but defeating the original Blomeba automatically destroys all those spawned by it. The primary Blomeba can be singled out by its movement pattern, which is different from that of its copies. Using an item is often the best way to defeat all the copies. Their name comes from "amoeba", a single-celled organism that can multiply at an intense rate, and also is a reference to their blue color.
