The Sobarribad is an enemy in Super Paper Mario encountered in the Castle Bleck Interior. Its name is a pun on the words "so very bad", and is derived from its method of protection, a barrier. It is a white and stronger version of the Barribad, which in turn looks and behaves similarly to a Yux from Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, and uses the same method of attack and protection as its regular counterpart, creating a barrier around itself and firing rings at the heroes. The only two Sobarribads are located at the top of the Hogarithm room, shooting rings at the bottom, and can be reached with Luigi's super jump. They need to be defeated to progress through the rest of the castle. Like a Barribad, the duo can be defeated by flipping into 3D, then into 2D inside their barrier and jumping on them, using Bowser's fire breath, and with Pixls Thoreau to throw them against a wall, Slim to disappear and reappear inside their barrier once they draws close, Fleep to make them temporarily dizzy, and Barry to reflect their rings back at them.
