Template:Kart-infobox The Blue Falcon is a small kart that appears in Mario Kart Wii and appears in Mario Kart 8 as DLC. It is modeled after the actual Blue Falcon vehicle used by Captain Falcon in the F-Zero series. The Blue Falcon in Mario Kart Wii is based on its more modern design from F-Zero X on the N64, while the one in Mario Kart 8 is based on its design from the original SNES F-Zero. The coloring of Baby Mario's kart is the same as the real Blue Falcon.
The Blue Falcon can be unlocked in Mario Kart Wii by winning the Lightning Cup in Mirror Mode. It does not have a bike counterpart for the small size class, being more similar to the medium bike Sneakster and the heavy bike Spear.

Stats
The Blue Falcon has great speed; it is the fastest small vehicle in the game. In fact, its speed is equivalent to the Flame Runner's. It is also the fastest vehicle without a counterpart in the game. However, the vehicle is rather light and has average drifting and acceleration, but its other stats are rather low. Its weight is tied with the Standard Kart S.

Mario Kart 8
The Blue Falcon returns in Mario Kart 8 as one of the vehicles included in The Legend of Zelda × Mario Kart 8 downloadable content pack. Unlike in Mario Kart Wii, the model is based on the original Blue Falcon from the SNES game, F-Zero, has only one color scheme, and is available to all weight classes instead of being limited to only the lightweight class.

Trivia
- The Blue Falcon is powered by battery, similarly to the Cheep Charger. The battery is located at the bottom of the kart, and is seen when the Blue Falcon is flipped.
- Though it is called the Blue Falcon, Baby Mario, Toad, and the Male Mii are the only characters who actually have it colored blue. Baby Mario's has the true color scheme as the machine itself from the F-Zero games, while Toad's and the Male Mii's color variants are unique to the game.
- The Blue Falcon is the only small vehicle to have a Mini-Turbo lower than 30, unless driven by Baby Daisy, Koopa Troopa, Dry Bones, or the Mii based on their Mini-Turbo bonuses. This is unusual, as most small vehicles are capable of powerful Mini-Turbos.
- This is the only vehicle in Mario Kart Wii to have the same name in all languages.
