In the first chapter, Mario meets the Dimensional Governer Bestovius, who teaches Mario the Dimensional Technique. This technique is used quite often to progress and locate items. Mario and his brother, Luigi briefly re-visit Lineland Road during the final chapter of Super Paper Mario while chasing Dimentio in a magical game of hide-and-seek.
