Template:Spmenemybox The Sobarribad is an enemy in Super Paper Mario encountered in Castle Bleck. Its name is a pun on the words "so very bad", and is derived from its method of protection, a barrier. It is a white version of the Barribad, and the enemies look and behave similarly to the Yux of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. The Sobarribad projects an impenetrable barrier around itself when Mario, Princess Peach, Bowser, or Luigi approaches, and shoots rings of energy at them. However, by flipping to 3D, the player can go around the barrier, switch to 2D, and defeat it. An alternative is to use pixl Barry, which will reflect the energy back at them and destroys them. Another way to defeat the Sobarribad is to use Fleep to daze it for a while, then attack it before it snaps out of its dizziness. Or the player can use Bowser to breathe fire.
