Garamond is a best-selling novelist living on Flopside's first floor who Mario meets during Super Paper Mario. He writes very quickly and is incredibly successful. He receives his inspiration from a man in his dreams. After the player beats the game, he will be found in Helvetica's place (in Flipside.) If the player talks to Helvetica (in Flopside), he will say that he gave Garamond ideas through dreams. When he told Merlon about this, he suggested that the two switch places. That explains the position change.
