However, it is revealed that Francis made Tiptron; and for 999 coins, he'll sell it to Mario, allowing the player to use Tippi's abilities again. This presents the problem to the player to amass this much money, as 999 is the highest number of coins the player can hold.

Tiptron has feminine programming and is designed to resemble Tippi. Tiptron likes to think she is Tippi, and speaks exactly like her, albeit in a more electronic looking speech box, similar to TEC-XX from Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. She admits to not being Tippi when she tattles on the player, she thanks Mario, Princess Peach, Bowser and Luigi for saving the world, ended by "At least, that's what I think she'd say...", referring to Tippi. She also admits to this when scanning Francis. She seems rather conflicted on her identity, believing herself to be Tippi, but also being aware that she is not Tippi at the same time, leading her to be rather distressed about the whole thing.

Tiptron, Super Paper Mario

Tiptron is a robotic version of Tippi, a partner of Mario in the game Super Paper Mario. At the end of the game, Tippi becomes unavailable for the player's use after her marriage to Count Bleck and subsequent disappearance after regaining her human form. However, it is revealed later that Francis created Tiptron, and for 999 coins (the highest number of coins the player can hold), he will sell it to Mario, allowing the player to use Tippi's abilities again. If the player talks to Francis after buying Tiptron, he states that he is going to create Tiptron Mk. II.

Tiptron has feminine programming and is designed to resemble Tippi; she speaks exactly like her and uses rainbow-colored textboxes as with the other Pixls, but shares the textbox shape used by other robotic characters like Fracktail and Wracktail. However, there are several occasions where she demonstrates some awareness that she is not the real Tippi:

 • If the player uses her to tattle themselves, she thanks them for saving all worlds before adding, "...At least, that's what I think she would say..."
 • Merlon initially believes she is Tippi as well, and addresses her as such, causing Tiptron to stutter and appear flustered by the concept.
 • When tattling Francis, Tiptron at first refers to him as her creator and briefly hesitates before quickly asserting her "true" identity.

Overall, though she was made as an exact replica of Tippi, essentially a replacement, she is able to see through her programming, and this awareness that she is not truly Tippi creates something of a minor identity crisis. Despite this self-conflict, however, Tiptron still believes she is Tippi and acts as her organic counterpart would. In function, Tiptron differs from Tippi in only one minor way: the pointer she transforms into while tattling enemies rotates at a much slower and more spasmodic pace, while Tippi does so much more smoothly.
