Sproing-Oings are spring-like enemies which appears in the game Super Paper Mario. Their attack pattern is simply to leap about. When an enemy is sighted, they immediately home in. If the player's attack is too low, they will split into three Mini-Sproings, which are smaller and have a single hit point. However, if they are destroyed with enough attack power, they will not have the chance to clone themselves. They first appear in the first stage, Lineland Road, and continue to make sporadic appearances afterward.
Starting with Chapter 4-2, stronger types begin appearing, starting with the blue-colored Boing-Oing and later including the silver Zoing-Oing. In the Flopside Pit of 100 Trials a shadowy type called Dark Sproing-Oing appears.
