An arrangement of "Koopalings BGM" can be heard in Game Boy Advance remake of Super Mario World, Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2. This version is much more compressed than the original version and uses different, lower-quality synthetic instruments.
New Super Mario Bros. 2[edit]
Reznors return as a recurring mid-boss fought on tower levels in New Super Mario Bros. 2, replacing Bowser Jr.'s role from the original New Super Mario Bros., along with a faithful arrangement of "Koopalings BGM" as their battle theme.
Super Smash Bros. for Wii U[edit]
A Latin flamenco-style arrangement of "Koopalings BGM" arranged by ACE (TOMOri Kudo / CHiCO), titled "Fortress Boss (Super Mario World)", appears as a playable song for the Mushroom Kingdom U and Super Mario Maker stages in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. This arrangement uses acoustic guitar, brass, and accordion as main instruments, and features an original vocal and extended melody in the second half of the theme.
