Twistee Island is an island in Mario & Luigi: Brothership. Its name is a mutation of "twisty". It is found drifting in the Lushgreen Sea and can be visited after Rumbla Island is linked. Maykit is found here, and if this island is linked before Raynforst Island, Maykit runs the workshop on Shipshape Island for the rest of the game.

History[edit]

Mario and Luigi arrive on Twistee Island seeking Maykit, although they cannot reach her nor the island's lighthouse because the Twisten Sprout has withered up. In the island's plaza, they find Dyode lying on the floor because he has no hair wax. Mario and Luigi find Spiralia deep in the woods and help her get back to her shop while avoiding bugs. Spiralia gives Mario and Luigi hair wax which they give to Dyode who comes out of his slump. Mario and Luigi dance with Dyode and Emmit, which causes the Twisten Sprout to rise and allow Mario and Luigi to reach Maykit and the lighthouse.

Following Bowser's attack on Shipshape Island, Twistee Island gets disconnected and drifts in the Gulchrock Sea along with Heatfreeze Island. While Twistee Island is drifting, the Zok Troops infect the island's residents and monsters with Glohm. If Twistee Island is visited first, Mario and Luigi must rescue island residents from Glohmed monsters and Zok Troopers. If Twistee Island is visited second, Mario and Luigi discover that too many island residents have been Glohmed. Regardless, the Twisten Sprout has withered again and Mario and Luigi dance with Dyode and Emmit again to revive it and reach the lighthouse.

While Mario and Luigi gather Bonds to reach the Soli-Tree, Mario and Luigi return to Twistee Island to collect a Bond from Dyode and Emmit. Mario and Luigi dance with Dyode and Emmit once again, then follow them on a tour with Merrygo Island being their next stop.

Enemies[edit]

After Twistee Island is disconnected by Bowser's attack, the enemies are replaced with Glohmed versions. After Reclusa awakens, these enemies become even stronger.

Profile[edit]
