Wuhu Town returns in ''[[Mario Kart 8 Deluxe]]'' as a retro battle course. Similar to {{classic-link|DS|Wario Stadium}}, the stage now takes place in the daytime, as opposed to night time, with triangular flags replacing the lights. The water fountain on the center of the town is replaced with a flower patch, with a compass rose around it. Most buildings in the town were redesigned, and the town now has color coded roofs, with green, red, orange, yellow and blue areas, aside from the central building, which has been redesigned and connected to the adjacent buildings. Other changes compared to the previous incarnations of the town include the collection of buildings at the top of the raised section being replaced by a mansion, a second terrace being added to the right side of the town in the background, and outdoor seating being added throughout the track. The Whale Shark also now features the ''Mario Kart'' logo. Several changes were also made to the gameplay; notably, the basketball court is now open to players to drive into, the center path leading to the raised portion now cuts through the offroad (which also now has trees), and the building to the southeast of the town center was reshaped, making the offroad there an almost entirely straight path.

Wuhu Town is a battle course in Mario Kart 7 based on the town of the same name in Wuhu Island. In Mario Kart 7, this course shares its music with Honeybee Hive and Sherbet Rink, but both courses each use a different instrumentation compared to this one.

Mario Kart 7[edit]

The course has a fountain at the center of the stage which allows players to jump over it and accomplish a trick. There are also three small paths leading uphill to a small grass-covered area, where the Queen Peach cruise ship and the Whale Shark blimp can be seen. Item Boxes are scattered near the center of the stage, usually where a path begins. There is a metal fence on the exits of the town and some white lights hanging on windows, roofs, or lit-up lampposts. Some parts of the town, between the buildings, have patches of grass and the rest is a bricked road.

The course in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

Wuhu Town returns in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe as a retro battle course. Similar to DS Wario Stadium, the stage now takes place in the daytime, as opposed to night time, with triangular flags replacing the lights. The Whale Shark also now features the Mario Kart logo. Several changes were also made to the gameplay; notably, the basketball court is now open to players to drive into, the center path leading to the raised portion now cuts through the offroad (which also now has trees), and the building to the southeast of the town center was reshaped, making the offroad there an almost entirely straight path.

Similarly to the GCN Luigi's Mansion battle course, new background music plays on the course compared to its original appearance; in this case, a rearrangement of the theme for Wuhu Loop and Maka Wuhu, which in turn is based on the main title theme from Wii Sports Resort.
