"Power Up"[1] is a brief musical fanfare composed for Super Mario Bros. by Koji Kondo. It plays whenever the player collects a Power-Up.
Composition
"Power Up" is an extremely sped up arrangement of "Course Clear," the theme heard after completing a level.
