The Crash Guard is an item that appears in the New Mode of Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D and later reappears in Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. It helps the player in levels based on riding Mine Carts and Rocket Barrels by negating the damage the vehicle would take from enemies and obstacles. This similar to the Banana Juice in that it only works a certain number of times.
