"World 3 Map (Water Land)"[1] is a theme composed by Koji Kondo for Super Mario Bros. 3 that, as the name implies, can be heard on the overworld map of Water Land, the third world of the game. The theme has also gone on to become a recurring theme in The Legend of Zelda franchise as the "Fairy Fountain" theme. However, in a 2001 interview with Kondo, he claimed that the similarity between the two themes is coincidental.[2]
