In the episodes Kutlass did appear he was usually scheming and making plans to steal the [[Crystal Coconut]] with Skurvy and his shipmate [[Green Kroc]]. Kutlass is thought by some to be Skurvy's counterpart to [[King K. Rool]]'s bodyguard, [[Krusha (character)|Krusha]].

Kutlass is a shipmate of Kaptain Skurvy and recurring character on the Donkey Kong Country animated series. He is Skurvy's second-mate, and he speaks with a distinctive Italian accent.
