Koshas,[1] also named Clubbies[2][3] or Viking Kremlings,[4] are in Donkey Kong 64. They are olive Kremlings with gray viking helmet. They have a large, spiked club that they struggle to drag along with them, sometimes flattening themselves with it by mistake. They are found at Gloomy Galleon, Fungi Forest (at night), Crystal Caves, and Creepy Castle (including its lobby in DK Isles). If the player character is hit by Kosha, they lose two melon slices. Koshas are resistant and can be defeated either from an orange explosion if they do not see the player character, a musical instrument move, the shockwave ability, or Hunky Chunky. A Kosha yells when defeated before being hit by its own club and dropping two melon slices.

A gigantic Kosha is stationed near the top of Crystal Caves. It smashes the ceiling of the cave at regular intervals, creating violent tremors that send stalactites raining down in the level, though defeating it stops the stalactites from falling.
