Players must [[Ground Pound]] an inflatable, blue [[Thwomp]] made of rubber enough to completely deflate it. The higher the jump before the Pound, the more air gets deflated. The first team to completely deflate their Thwomp wins.

The minigame opens with a scene of an inflatable [[Thwomp]] dropping to the ground.


Both teams [[Ground Pound|ground-pound]] their inflatable blue Thwomp repeatedly with the goal of deflating it entirely. Ground Pounds from higher [[jump]]s deflate the Thwomp further. The first team to meet the objective wins, but if neither team does so within 30 seconds, it is a tie.
The ending shows the winning team and losing team performing their respective animations.
The minigame title is a play on "{{wp|Great Debate|the Great Debate}}."
