Cheep Cheep Sweep is a 2-vs-2 minigame in Mario Party 4.

Introduction[edit]

A red Cheep Cheep is seen jumping out of the water in closeup. The camera zooms out to reveal the four players, each with a net representing their team color.

Gameplay[edit]

Players are placed in a small pond with many Cheep Cheeps. Players must catch the Cheep Cheeps in their nets and bring them over to their team's cage. Red Cheep Cheeps are worth one point, and yellow ones are worth two points. The net can hold up to three Cheep Cheeps at once. Walking too fast and making ripples in the water cause the Cheep Cheeps to swim away, so players must sneak up on the fish if they wish to catch them. The minigame ends when all Cheep Cheeps are caught or when time runs out. The team with more Cheep Cheeps in its cage at the end of the minigame wins.

Ending[edit]

The players' nets disappear, and the winning teammates do victory animations while the losing teammates do losing animations.

Controls[edit]

  • Control Stick – Move
  • A Button – Catch
  • B Button – Empty the net
