Whibbi is a Nimbi sage who helps Mario and his friends save The Overthere. He is a close aide to Grambi and the coordinator of the Nimbi sages. He is first found encased in a block of solid ice, which implies that he had probably been frozen by Bonechill's icy breath, like many other Nimbis. Using his own Fire Breath, Bowser thaws the ice and thus released Whibbi. Then, Whibbi tells Mario to find the Red, Blue and Yellow Orbs so that he will be able to rebuild the bridge to Grambi's palace, the Heroes of Light's next destination.
