The player can easily see the opera house's interior briefly in the R and R/T variations of the course, where it can be seen that the audience is still present, despite the racers never going in there.

The Sydney Opera House also appears in Mario Kart Tour as a location in Sydney Sprint. Inside, Toads, Shy Guys, and Koopa Troopas appear as the audience.
