The Chomp Bro is a large, muscular version of Hammer Bros. wielding a Chain Chomp as a weapon. They are encountered in Bowser's Castle in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. They attack by throwing their Chain Chomps at either Mario or Luigi. During a battle, if the Chomp Bro spins its Chain Chomp clockwise, it will be thrown at Mario; if counter-clockwise, it is targeting Luigi. The number of times they spin around determines how fast the attack will be. If Mario or Luigi jump on the Chain Chomp when it is thrown, it will fall off the screen, leaving the Chomp Bro defenseless.
