Template:Spmenemybox Dark Goombas are tougher versions of normal Goombas that live in rooms 1, 2, 3, 8, 15, 19, 29, 46, and 47 of the Flopside Pit of 100 Trials during the events of Super Paper Mario. They have ten HP and can inflict two points of damage to Mario and his allies. They are not really "dark" creatures (in the sense of a Gloomba), just shadow-like Goombas.
Dark Goombas also appear in the final battle with Dark Bowser in Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story after Dark Bowser is revived by Dark Fawful he throws a ball of Dark enemies. Dark Goombas try to run into Bowser and he needs to punch them back.
