Most swim freely around the water; others are attached to the bottom. Underhands will pursue and/or reach toward the player to attempt to damage them, in a manner similar to Deep-Cheeps. When the water in the River Twygz is drained, they disappear. They are later seen in Chapter 7-2 along the Underwhere Road. It is possible to knock an Underhand's "head" off using Barry, after which its body will disappear and its head will create a new body after a brief moment after it falls.
