Template:Level The Tile Pool is the setting of Chapter 3-2 in Super Paper Mario. It is a pun of the words "tile" and "tide pool", the latter of which is applied to small accumulations of water found on beaches after a tide comes in.
Mario, Princess Peach, and Bowser swim through a pixelated pool on their way to Fort Francis. After a while, large tentacles begin to reach out for them on occasion, though their source is not seen. Upon meeting Thudley; a Pixl that allows them to Ground Pound, he helps them solve a puzzle; and they are able to proceed. With him at their side, Mario, Bowser, and Peach trek onward. Soon, it becomes apparent that the tentacles belonged to Big Blooper. The heroes attack the tentacle with red spots on it, as instructed by Barry in Chapter 3-1, in order to defeat Big Blooper. Once the Big Blooper is defeated, Mario, Peach, and Bowser head into a nearby Warp Pipe leading to the end of the level.
