Paolo Torrisi was an Italian actor, voice actor, and dubbing director. He started off at age 10 working as a child actor in various television plays and at Expo 61 as a child prodigy. In 1969, he started his dubbing career as Pierre in The Wonderful World of Puss 'n Boots. He died at age 55 due to a liver disease.[1]

As a voice actor, his most recognizable role is adult Goku and young Piccolo in the Mediaset dub of Dragon Ball. He also played Nightwing in The New Batman Adventures, Joe Dalton in the first two Lucky Luke cartoons, Mowgli in The Jungle Book and Carl Wheezer in The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius.

In The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World, he voiced Kooky von Koopa, and also replaced Paolo Marchese as Big Mouth in "The Yoshi Shuffle". For DIC, he also played the Gibdo in The Legend of Zelda.
