The Heart Slacks are gear in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions, available for purchase in the Castle Town Fashion House after defeating Popple with Birdo in Teehee Valley. In both games, only Mario can wear them.

In the original, they can be bought for 580 coins in the Japanese version and 520 coins in international releases. They give an HP boost of 80 points in the Japanese version or a DEF boost of 60 points in international releases. They also provide the DEF-Up special effect, temporarily adding an extra 50% of Mario's base DEF at the start of the battle.

In the remake, they can be bought for 950 coins and give an HP boost of 80 points regardless of region and have the One-Turn Recover effect, immediately healing status ailments.
