The Defense Pants are gear in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions that can be worn by both Mario and Luigi. They can only be obtained as a rare drop from a Limbo Bro in Guffawha Ruins when the Game Boy Horror SP is equipped; since Mario is not available in that segment, the Super Attack version of Swing Bros. cannot be used. They grant a very large amount of stat bonuses, with an HP boost of 8 points, a BP boost of 9 points, a POW boost of 4 points, a DEF boost of 36 points, and a SPEED boost of 4 points. This makes them the only overalls in the game to give a POW boost. They have the DEF-Up effect, so having them equipped now gives a temporary DEF boost that grants an extra 50% to the bro's base DEF stat for 3 turns. They can be sold for five coins.
