The Iron Pants are gear in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions. In both games, only Mario can wear them. They are obtained from a mole at the end of a cave accessible from northern Beanbean Fields near the entrance to Teehee Valley, and require the ability to use Mini-Mario to reach. They give a DEF boost of 80 in the original version's Japanese release, 70 in the original version's international releases, and 99 in all releases of the remake. They also have the HEAVY G effect in all versions, increasing the gravity for Mario when he wears them. Despite being named for iron, their description states they are made using titanium.
