The Casual Slacks is gear in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions that can be worn by both Mario and Luigi, available for purchase in the Beanbean Castle Town Clothes Shop after defeating Popple and Birdo.

In the original, they give a DEF boost of 70 points, as well as a boost to HP, either 20 points in the original or 30 points in the Japanese version. They cost 550 coins in the original, and 900 coins in the Japanese version.

In the remake, they give a DEF boost of 79 points, as well as a boost to BP for 10 points. While they claim to lessen damage after failed defensive actions, this appears to be bugged and does not have any effect. They cost 1000 coins.
